Marketing Intern

Synecore is seeking a talented individual looking for a broad range of experience in various marketing activities, but with a specific interest in digital marketing. Candidates must be committed and highly motivated to succeed in this role; they are needed to support the implementation and development of digital strategies, campaign activities, reporting, communication, and social engagement for our growing client base.

The right candidate has:

  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate study, working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field – OR – a recent graduate looking for a well-rounded Marketing experience
  • The ability to become an expert on each client to properly support their goals and needs
  • An interest in researching industry trends daily
  • Experience and strong interest in the development and implementation of well-rounded digital strategies to achieve specific end goals
  • A clear understanding of standard digital, social communications and social networks and media such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, blogs, and more
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
  • A results-oriented personality; a self-starter who is proactive and flexible
  • An analytical mind
  • The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet requirements for timeliness and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Access/Excel/Word/PowerPoint

Bonus points if you:

  • Are familiar with Inbound Marketing, Marketing Automation (the HubSpot platform in particular), Video Marketing, Lead Nurturing, Statistics and Data Analysis

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with a wide range of client work that may include strategic analysis, social media marketing, content creation and management, developing marketing campaigns, lead generation and management, and more
  • Daily research to expand industry knowledge
  • Assisting with content strategy, social media strategy in lieu of the latest industry trends and internal analytics reports
  • Identifying appropriate target markets and buyer personas, and monitoring changes to each
  • Helping to build a strong online presence for our clients
  • Participating in client meetings to establish business relationships
  • Researching and monitoring clients’ competition
  • Proactively identifying challenges and approaching them with thoughtful and relevant solutions
  • Working directly with the project manager, content creator, and social media strategist to develop relevant strategies and assist with workload
